Who is behind this?

Hello! My name is Kalyan, I am a UPSC mentor.

Kalyan

I’ve been in UPSCverse™️  for 12+ years, I am a UPSC mentor / Edutainer* from Hyderabad. As a Mentor, I bring together the time tested ways, mental models, and technology to help aspirants navigate the UPSC exam cycle.

I am a firm believer that talent can come from any place, sometimes all it needs is a nudge. So, this site is to share all things UPSC and give that push to those who are looking for some useful stuff.

* [Inspired from one of my hero’s Hans Rosling].
**Had to share because every one is an expert in UPSC, to add authenticity

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it. They just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while; that’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.” — Steve Jobs

  • I have started MY UPSC journey in [2010-2017], so I have two five years plan of experience behind me.

  • I have my experience, have seen and understood my peers, friends, and my students experiences, preparation strategies and the effort have put in to get in to service or clear the prelim/mains stages.

  • Furthermore, I have been posting suggested articles since 2013 [daily] and have read 1000s of articles in the last decade, in short I read newspaper every day [almost] in last 8 years.

The above-mentioned background + experience, as Dave Pell says, makes me a good algorithm, gives me insight in the usefulness of the article, it’s long-term relevance and impact that it will have in overall answer writing. So, this curated newsletter aims to do that, CURATE and point you in the right direction.

If I have seen further,it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” Isaac Newton

So, these articles are coming to you after 12 years of experience + 8 newspapers later, not instantly and definitely not by some other bored senior aspirants with attempts.

Any “One” aspirant, making use of this and reaching his/her dream in the end is the only satisfaction I ever need. I am deeply convinced that impact lies in quality and connect, not in number of subscribers. If you feel this is not worth your time, feel free to unsubscribe link is available at the end of the mail.
